Four Irish stars were awarded by their peers last night with positions of the PFA Championship and League 1 Teams of the Year.
The Championship side sees three Irish internationals make the grade. Sheffield Wednesday's Keiren Westwood was named the goalkeeper in the side and it's his second PFA award after being named in the 2007-2008 League One Team of the Year while at Carlisle.
In the centre back position, Richard Keogh won his first PFA award. The Derby County defender, who captained Ireland against Oman earlier this season is hoping to win promotion through the play offs with Steve McClaren's side.
The Championship and League One Teams of the Year see Ireland represented by strikers.
Irish international Daryl Murphy, represents Ipswich in the Championship Team of the Year. The Waterford native who has had a career resurgence under Mick McCarthy was the first Ipswich player to score over 20 goals in a season since Darren Bent did in 2004-2005.
Despite leaving the division on the last day of the January transfer window, Eoin Doyle made the League One Team.
The former Chesterfield striker scored 25 goals this season before his move to Championship side Cardiff which was enough for the former Sligo Rovers striker to make the team.
Although Doyle moved to the Championship in the middle of the season, he still lies third in the League One top scorers charts.
In the Premier League, Chelsea's Eden Hazard was named Player of the Year. Tottenham's Harry Kane won the Young Player of the Year award.
