The top 10 at the Irish Open is noticeably Irish free on day 3 of this year’s tournament at Carton House.

Shane Lowry has not been able to continue his good form of the past two days – when he scored a combined 7 under – and finished today’s round with a 74, two over par, to leave him at 5 under for the tournament.

Paul Lawrie finished on 6 under, while Alan Dunbar and Gareth Shaw reached the clubhouse on 5 under, with Simon Thornton one further back on 4 under.
