The IRFU say that they are still in negotiations with Joe Schmidt about a new contract.

The Union's performance director, David Nucifora has revealed that talks are on-going with the Ireland head coach that has led the team to back-to-back Six Nations titles.

Nucifora is reluctant to say anything further about the negotiations.

"We're still chatting away, so when we've got some news we'll let you know. There's nothing more other than that," he told Off The Ball's Dave McIntrye.
