Ireland's WWE superstar Sheamus will appear on the big screen opposite Megan Fox as he takes on the role of one of Shredder's henchman in the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. 

Sheamus, whose real name is Stephen Farrelly, will play a pre-mutation Rocksteady, one of the right hand men/mutants who do the dirty work for Shredder, the villain of the piece. He took to Twitter last night to confirm the news.

The full trailer for the movie will be released on on Thursday afternoon, but a short teaser has already hit YouTube that gives a taste of what audiences can expect from the sequel. 

Like many wrestlers before him, such as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and John Cena, Sheamus now appears to be making the transition to the big screen, so here's hoping this part proves to be a smart choice.
