UTV Ireland is set to start broadcasting this evening.
Ireland's new television station will be launched at 7.25 tonight with a short programme 'Welcome to UTV Ireland' about the last year of setting up the channel.
It will be followed by an hour-long episode of Emmerdale and a documentary from Pat Kenny looking ahead to 2015.
The station will be the new home to Emmerdale and Coronation Street, as well as The Graham Norton Show.
On Monday, the channel will show Rare Breed: A Farming Year, which will follow the lives of Irish farmers for 12 weeks.
Monday will also see the start of the channel's news programme Ireland Live, which will broadcast every weeknight at 6.30pm and 10pm. It will be hosted by Alison Comyn and Newstalk's Chris Donoghue.
The station will be available on Sky channel 116, UPC 110, Saorview 6, and eVision108. The channel will also offer an online player, available from the channel's website and through iOS and Android apps.
