Interim Ireland manager Noel King will wait until just before kick-off before revealing his teamsheet for tonight's World cup qualifier against Germany in Cologne.

King has yet to reveal if Robbie Keane will start tonight's game in Cologne, with the Ireland captain currently struggling with an ankle injury.

There are reports that Kevin Doyle and Anthony Stokes could both be in line to lead the Irish attack tonight, while Damien Delaney is expected to partner Ciaran Clark in defence.

After spending a week in camp with the squad, King hopes that he has done enough to prepare the team but he knows it's now down to the 11 he puts onto the pitch.

"They have to understand and get a sense of the game themselves as it's progressing. The threats will come from different places," he said.
