Speaking about the move, Campbell said "it's a bit surreal. I didn't expect to come here - it's a big Club - but I'm up to the challenge. I've just graduated and I was looking for a professional team. Fortunately enough, City came in for me and now I'm here!".
She added that "It's a big step up from college soccer in the States so I'm going to take my time, using my first year to grow as a player and keep progressing".
Campbell got plenty of attention after the recent friendly against the United States in which the team made great use of her dangerous long throws.
