Ireland's boxers have secured at least two bronze medals at the World Youth Championships in St. Petersburg.

Gabriel Dossen moved through to the light welterweight semis with victory over Rohan Polanco of the Dominican Republic.

He won on all five judges cards.

Meanwhile, Portlaoise middleweight Michael Nevin saw off Lithuania's Vytautas Balsys in his quarter final.

Four of the five judges had Nevin up on the scorecards.

There was no such luck for light heavyweight Christopher O'Reilly who was beaten in the quarter finals by his Kazakh opponent.
