Ireland have slipped to 44th in the FIFA World rankings - a drop of three places compared to last month.
If follows a raft of friendlies and qualifiers in June which saw the Boys in Green beat Faroe Island and Georgia, draw with England and lose to Spain who stay top of the rankings.
England have fallen outside the top ten and are now 15th, while Confederations Cup champions Brazil have made a giant leap to 9th place from a lowly position of 22nd.
The top five is made up of Spain, Germany, Colombia, Argentina and the Netherlands.
Northern Ireland is up five places to 111th, while Wales are just three places behind Ireland in the rankings.
