The injury list for Martin O'neill's Ireland squad at the Euros this summer seems to get longer and longer, and on Friday there was another name that may be added to the list.

Speaking at his weekly press conference, Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe stated that Ireland's Harry Arter was in danger of not playing again this season after suffering an Achilles injury.

Arter played no part in either of Ireland's friendlies in March, and Howe revealed that the club is not sure when he will return.

"We've seen specialists this week," said Howe "he's had an injection in his Achilles [..] so we're waiting to see the results of that to see whether he will participate again this season".

O'Neill already has a number of injuries to contend with, including goalkeeper Rob Elliot, who suffered a serious injury in action against Slovakia. Elsewhere, Jeff Hendrick and Robbie Keane, amongst a number of other players, face a race to be fit for the tournament.
