The GAA and AFL have announced a number of rule changes for November's International Rules test in Perth.

Goalkeepers must now kick the ball out beyond the 45 metre line following all overs, behinds and wides.

The number of permitted consectuive handpasses has risen from four to six.

Interchanges have been increased to 15 per quarter, while marks have been eliminated for backwards kicks.

The Paterson's Stadium in Perth will play host to Australia and Ireland on Saturday November 22nd.

The last series took place with a two-legged tie between Ireland and an All-Indigenous side at Breffni Park, Cavan and Croke Park, with Ireland winning with ease.
