Indian cricket legend Sashin Tendulkar has become the latest high-profile star to call for Ireland to be given a place at the sport's top table.
The former batsman says that associate nations, such as Ireland and Afghanistan, need to be able to play more games against full member countries.
"When you want the game to globalise, we need to encourage more and more teams to participate, obviously not at the cost of dropping the standard of play," he said.
