Waterford and Clare will go head-to-head in this year's Allianz Hurling League final on May 1st.

Both sides won their respective semi-finals at Semple Stadium today.

Reigning league champions Waterford were first up in the double-header against Limerick.

The Deise dominated the contest, defeating their Munster rivals 3-23 to 1-18 to power through.

Clare impressed in the second semi-final against All-Ireland champions Kilkenny.

John Conlon, Aaron Cunningham (2) and Conor McGrath got the Clare goals as the Banner enjoyed a 4-22 to 2-19 win over Brian Cody's side.
