Ireland slumped to an 18-6 defeat in Perpignan against a powerful French outfit in Round 2 of their Six Nations campaign. 

Despite having a lot of possession and territory, frustratingly for Ireland they couldn't keep the number of unforced handling errors down as on multiple occasions it halted their attacking momentum. 

Niamh Briggs landed two penalties but the Girls in Green couldn't cross the whitewash for a deserved try, but not for a lack of trying. 

It's two from two for France as they now look like the favourites to go on and claim the championship.
