The death of Limerick born broadcaster Terry Wogan has prompted several people to take to their social media accounts to post tributes to the highly renowned media legend.
Wogan, who died after a short illness, was best recognised for presenting a selection of programmes including Blankety Blank, Children in Need and the Eurovision Song Contest. He also hosted his self-named radio programme Wake up to Wogan on BBC Radio 2.
Tributes are pouring in for Terry Wogan, with several sports figures posting their own contributions.
