Ian Holloway has been appointed as the new manager of Millwall.

The 50-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Lions who are 21st in the Championship, just one point above the relegation zone.

The former Blackpool manager left Crystal Palace by mutual consent in October with the Eagles bottom of the Premier League.

Millwall sacked former Northern Ireland player Steve Lomas last month with the team struggling for form.
