Ahead of Connacht's clash with Munster at the Sportsgrounds this evening (5.0), it’s timely to look back on one the most enjoyable interviews we had on Newstalk Sport Saturday in 2014.

Connacht head coach Pat Lam spoke at length to Nathan Murphy last month about his vision for the Westerners - including selling out a 20,000-capacity stadium for home games - and how he has changed the mindset in Galway.

Lam registers their famous defeat of Toulouse at Stade Ernest Wallon in 2013 and the recruitment of All Black centurion Mils Muliaina as staging posts in changing the perception of Connacht Rugby.

He also spoke of the pride out West in centre Robbie Henshaw’s progress – and insisted the Ireland centre can achieve Champions Cup success with the club.
