Hull City were relegated from the Premier League this weekend, after suffering a demoralising 4-0 defeat away to Crystal Palace.

The result keeps them four points away from safety, and condemns them to the drop alongside Middlesbrough and Sunderland.

Goals from Wilfried Zaha, Christian Benteke, Luka Milivojevic and Patrick van Aanholt confirmed Hull's fate as the visitors failed to get a single shot on target throughout the tie.

The Tigers had little chance of imposing themselves on this game after conceding the opening goal after just three minutes, when Andrea Ranocchia's error gifted possession to Zaha, who provided the extras.

Silva tried to inject some pace in the Hull attack, by putting on two extra forwards at half-time, but with the scoreline reading 2-0 after Benteke's goal, there was just too much ground to make up.

Swansea City, who are on 38 points, are guaranteed to stay up in the Premier League table, while Hull face back into Championship football only one season after winning promotion to the top flight.
