Huddersfield boss Chris Powell has praised Brighton's recent appointment of Chris Hughton.

The Irishman become just the fifth manager from a black or ethnic minority to be employed currently in the top four divisions of English football, alongside Powell, Keith Curle (Carlisle United), Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (Burton Albion) and Fabio Liverani (Leyton Orient).

Near the end of last year, Football Association chairman Greg Dyke said he expected a version of American football's ‘Rooney Rule’ to be introduced soon.
