Trainer Gerard Butler has been disqualified for five years following a British Horseracing Authority inquiry into the use of steroids.

Nine horses under his care in Newmarket had tested positive for a banned anabolic steroid in February.

Butler admitted to seven charges, with the most serious related to his failure to look after the interests of four horses in his care.
