Pat Holmes has stepped down as Castlebar Mitchel's manager.

The former Mayo star led Mitchels to a county and provincial title before defeat in the All Ireland club final against St Vincents on Monday.

Holmes took the job in January 2011 in his first managerial role. The 2013 county title was their first in 20 years.
