Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink's says there is no guarantee that captain John Terry will leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

Terry told reporters after their FA Cup win at MK Dons that the club was moving in a different direction and he wouldn't be staying.

But Hiddink says there is no final decision yet, following on from a Chelsea statement on Monday which had suggested that his departure was not a foregone conclusion.

"He is entitled after his contract has expired at the end of the season to make up his mind, that's true. The club's side, they still want to have dialogue and to have an open door," he said.

Last night, Chelsea legend Pat Nevin told Off The Ball that "he won't be shocked" if Terry ends up staying at the club he has represented throughout his professional career.
