Ireland’s medal haul is growing by the day, with day three bringing 11 medals, including four golds, to bring the total to 15, at the Special Olympics in Los Angeles. With 88 Irish athletes among the 7,000 competitors there is every hope that total will grow before the end of the games.

Henry McKean is over in LA, amid the sea of green supporting the team, and he spoke to The Pat Kenny Show this morning, and he told us about the scene over in LA, and brought us interviews with competitors, their families and officials supporting the Irish team.

And Henry also included his discussion with an Irish mother and daughter about their planned trip to the Playboy Mansion – while also chatting with Colin Farrell about life in Hollywood, burger advice and how he feels about the mixed reaction to season two of True Detective.
