Hector Bellerin has vowed to make a special donation to the victims of the fire which claimed the lives of at least 30 people in London during the week.

The Arsenal and Spanish defender says he will donate £50 for every minute he plays in the U21 European Football Championship.

Bellerin's side are among the favourites for the title, meaning that Bellerin could be donating over £22,000 to the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire by the end of the tournament in Sweden.

Bellerin is expected to feature heavily for Spain throughout the campaign, and is likely to start in their opening game against Macedonia on Saturday evening.

Police say that at least 30 people are now confirmed dead as a result of the fire, but it is feared that the death toll may rise again.

Protesters converged on the streets of London on Friday afternoon, demanding justice for the victims and calling for an inquest to be conducted.
