Leinster captain Jamie Heaslip does not think rugby has an underlying problem with doping.

Heaslip responded to several tweets in recent days in relation to an article in the Sunday Independent that raised fears about the increasing size and power of rugby players and the nutrition supplements that they are using.

The Ireland and Lions No 8 suggested that the author, Paul Kimmage had deliberately left his article open-ended in order to increase its "controversial content".

"I just commented on how he likes to leave things very open. I think the processes that are in place work," said Heaslip, adding that he had lost count how many times he had been tested.
