After his loss to Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao revealed he suffered a shoulder injury in the build up to their super fight.

The Filipino boxer tore his rotator cuff in his right shoulder, before the fight and even contemplated pulling out of the fight.

Pacquiao also liaised with the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) to have his injury medicated but the request came too late.

As with all fights, both fighters filled out pre fight medical questionnaires for the NSAC.

Under the question "Have you had any injury to your shoulders, elbows, or hands that needed evaluation or examination?", Pacquiao answered No.

He signed the form under the warning that "under penalty of perjury, the above information is true and correct".

Pacquiao is to undergo surgery late this week and may be out for the rest of 2015 to recuperate.
