“Horrible” isn’t an adjective you often hear about a penalty. You might get a “mishit”, “ballooned” or “sliced”, but “horrible”? That seems a bit harsh.

In this case it feels pretty justified. Harry Kewell, non-penalty taking Champions League winner in 2005, has made a case for one of football’s poorest penalties with this effort for Melbourne Heart.
