Padraig Harrington is a player enjoying a fresh lease of life as he targets a third Open win.
As the three-time Major prepares to compete in his 19th Open, the 43-year-old has been explaining why this tournament is valued so highly by all the players on tour.
"We've grown up watching this on television, watching the greats win here. I was telling a young lad here the other day at the 18th tee - he's 14 years of age - and I said to him 'will I take off my sweater?' And he had no idea what I was talking about. He totally missed Jack Nicklaus taking off the sweater and I was thinking 'God! How can you not know these things,'" he said.
