Padraig Harrington has won the Honda Classic.

The three-time Major winner needed to hole a four-foot putt to win a playoff against American rookie Daniel Berger at Palm Beach, after both finished on 6-under.

After the Harrington held his nerve to hole a 16-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to force the play-off, the 42-year-old put himself in prime position to win the tournament.

The Dubliner takes home the $1.1M first prize, as well as a late inclusion in the field at this year's Masters.

English pair Paul Casey and Ian Poulter, as well as Scotland's Russell Knox all just missed out, finishing one shot back on 5-under.
