Formula 1 world championship leader Lewis Hamilton has missed out on a second successive pole position heading into tomorrow's Singapore Grand Prix.

The three-time reigning champion qualified in third behind his Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg, who was quickest.

Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo took second.

Hamilton holds a narrow two-point lead over Rosberg in the championship standings.

After Singapore, there are six races left to decide the drivers' championship.
