The Chicago Bulls handed the Golden State Warriors their first losing streak in almost two years after a 94-87 win.

Jimmy Butler dropped 22 points as the Bulls handed the Warriors a second consecutive loss for the first time in 146 matches - a run going back to April 2015.

Steph Curry bagged 23 points while Klay Thompson ended with 13 but their contributions weren't enough as the Warriors failed to cope with the loss of their other star player Kevin Durant earlier in the week.

The Bulls have now won five of their last six games an improve to 31-30 while GSW drop to 50-11.

Elsewhere the Oklahoma City Thunder lost to the Portland Trailblazers 114-109 despite Russell Westbrook scoring 45 points.

The Phoenix Suns beat the Charlotte Hornets 120-103 helped in part by 17 points from Marquese Chriss.
