The Golden State Warriors are just one victory away from history after they tied the Chicago Bulls' NBA record for 72 wins in a season.
Steph Curry's ended a 33 game losing streak away to the San Antonio Spurs with a 92-86 at the AT&T Centre, the first time they had won there since February 1997.
For his part, Curry registered 37 points in what was one of his best performances all season.
Klay Thompson hit a three-pointer with seven minutes to play in the fourth, extending the Warriors’ lead to 76-69, their biggest of the game to that point. Thompson finished with just 14 points.
With a win over Memphis on Wednesday night, Golden State will finish its season at 73-9, setting an NBA record for wins in a season.
