Graeme McDowell has made a winning start to the Volvo World Match Play Championship.
McDowell enjoyed a 5&3 win over England's Chris Wood at the Thracian Cliffs club in Bulgaria.
The match between Bo van Pelt and Richard Sterne was halved while Thailand's Thongchai Jaidee upset Ryder Cup hero Ian Poulter, 3&2.
There was also wins for Spain's Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano, Sweden's Carl Pettersson and Peter Hanson, South Africa's Branden Grace and Italian Francesco Molinari.
