Ryan Giggs will meet with Louis van Gaal today to discuss his future at Manchester United.

The Netherlands coach is expected to be appointed Manchester United's new manager this week.

Van Gaal is currently at a pre-World Cup training camp, but has a day off today as it is a designated rest day.

Giggs took interim charge following the sacking of David Moyes, and could be offered a place on the Dutchman's coaching team.

Last night on Off The Ball, United We Stand editor Andy Mitten suggested that Van Gaal is "amenable" to having Giggs on his coaching staff.
