World Cup winning coach Joachim Loew has announced that he is to stay in charge of Germany.
There had been speculation that the 54-year old would step away rain or shine, but the man who led his country to 2014 World Cup glory says he will see out the remainder of his contract which runs to the end of Euro 2016.
"At the moment I can think of nothing better than to continue working with this team and lead them to the European Championship in France. I am as motivated as my first day at the DFB (German FA)," he said.
Germany play host to the Republic of Ireland in the Euro qualifiers in Gelsenkirchen in October.
