Galway have edged past Waterford, with a 1-12 to 0-14 win in Salthill just enough to see them through a major scare in their second round qualifier tie. The Tribesmen needed a late Michael Meehan goal to see them through.
Meanwhile, in the hurling, Clare have easily advanced beyond the challenge of Laois, winning 1-32 to 0-15 at Cusack Park, Ennis.
Roscommon face Tyrone at 6pm in Dr. Hyde Park, and you can catch all of the action live on Newstalk.
The footballers of Clare and Laois go head to head at 5.15, with Derry and Down throwing in at 5 at Celtic Park.
Kilkenny face Tipperary in probably the biggest hurling qualifier in history, when they meet at 7 tonight in Nowlan Park.
