Galway have confirmed Micheal Donoghue as their next senior hurling manager.
He succeeds Anthony Cunningham in the hotseat for next year as Galway GAA confirmed on their website.
Having led Clarinbridge to All-Ireland club glory in 2011, Donoghue was part of Eamon O'Shea's Tipperary backroom team.
