Kildare 2-16 0-13 Meath

Kildare scored an emphatic victory over Meath on Saturday evening, to progress to their first Leinster final since 2009.

Goals from Cathal McNally and Daniel Flynn powered Cian O'Neill's side to victory and despite a brief rally from the Royals after half-time, Kildare had plenty in reserve to steer them to safety.

Kevin Feely's frees kept some distance between the sides, and he finished with a personal tally of five points, including four frees.

Meath's Donal Lenihen top-scored for his side with five points, two of which were frees.
