Britain's Chris Froome has described accusations of doping as "a sideshow" to his attempts to win the Tour de France for a second time.
This year's race leader says he is unsure if performance data, released by Team Sky, will convince everyone his displays have been achieved through being a clean athlete.
"It really has been more of a sideshow than anything else," he said
"I'm not sure if numbers are going to fix everything, but certainly I feel as a team and myself, we're definitely trying to be as open and transparent as possible."
As well as dealing with speculation, Froome also had urine thrown at him at the weekend.
