Up to 10 Premier League games will be played on a Friday night from the start of the 2016/17 season.

The change will be made as part of the bidding process for TV rights.

168 matches will be broadcast live which is 14 more than this season.

Rules mean that the televised games must be split among at least two companies.

The winners will be revealed in March.

Friday night games are regularly played elsewhere in Europe including the Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Serie A and La Liga.
