Former Aston Villa defender Vaclav Drobny has been killed in a sledding accident at the age of 32.

The Czech Republic international was on loan at Villa in the 2004/05 season, but never played a first-team game for the club.

Drobny earned two caps for country in 2004 and also played for Sparta Prague and French side Strasbourg.
