Who knew that Arsenal tradition dictated that all their players have to wear the exact same jersey on matchdays.
If it wasn't for Mathieu Flamini's attempt at youtful rebellion by cutting off the sleeves on his jersey (more background on the bizarre story here) and Arsene Wenger's angry reaction to that behaviour, we would never have known.
Off The Ball spoke to Arseblog writer Andrew Mangan who told Ger and Dan McDonnell that Arsenal have been following their shirtsleeve tradition since the 1960s.
But he also stated that the issue between Flamini and Wenger will not prove to be a major issue despite the public dressing down and the anger of Arsenal kitman Vic Akers.
He said: "It seems a big storm in an even bigger teacup. It's driven very much by the tabloids. I think Flamini said what he said before he heard what Wenger said. I don't think they'll fall out about this. It's the kind of issue you get when you are sitting at the top of the table."
