A film starring Paul Rudd and originally with Edgar Wright signed on as director has caused quite a bit of controversy since it began filming. However, Ant-Man is still one of the most eagerly awaited projects from Marvel Studios.

With new director Peyton Reed on board (Wright famously stepped away from the project), the film has released a debut trailer this morning with a voice over from the one and only Michael Douglas.

The film is due for release in July and it is rumoured that Ant-Man will eventually tie into the rest of the Avengers universe.
