The final of the Cricket World Cup will be contested by the two co-hosts, after Australia beat India by 95 runs this morning to set up a decider against New Zealand in Melbourne on Sunday.

Steve Smith scored a century as Australia set India a target of 329 to win - but the 2011 champions fell well short.

"The boys have turned up to training every single day to try and become better and I think  our results have shown that," said Australia captain Michael Clarke.

"I still don't think we've played the perfect game yet. I think we've improved every game and now we're excited to be in a final.

"It's a wonderful achievement, we're extremely proud. We know it's going to be tough against New Zealand"
