Stephen Ferris's management company says it remains unclear if he will retire from the sport.

The Irish Times reported this morning that the Ulster back row may retire after breaking down just four games into his comeback following a 16 month lay-off.

The player's management company say there are still ongoing tests on the ankle and a decisions will have be made very soon on the best move forward for the 28-year-old.
