Leinster head coach Matt O'Connor has confirmed that Fergus McFadden is facing a further 4 - 6 weeks out of action.
The winger has already had surgery on a thumb ligament injury that he suffered during last weekend's Pro 12 win over the Ospreys and will now miss all of the province's Christmas schedule.
However, O'Connor says that Rob Kearney has trained as usual and is fully fit ahead of Sunday's European Champions Cup clash with Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop.

Kane Douglas, Mike McCarthy and Luke Fitzgerald are also expected to be fit for the trip to London.
