Faugheen has maintained his incredible unbeaten run after dominating the Punchestown Champion Hurdle.

The brilliant 7-year-old made all the running under Ruby Walsh to claim an emphatic win over stablemate Arctic Fire by eight lengths to claim the €120K top prize.

After being sent off as the 6/1 on favourite, the Willie Mullins-trained star claimed a 10th consecutive victory to add to his Cheltenham Champion Hurdle success.

The opening race of the day was the Hunters Chase, which was won by Shin A Vee at odds of 9/1.

The EMS Novice Handicap Chase went to Blood Cotil for the Willie Mullins stable, with Paul Townend the winning jockey.

The Glencarraig Lady Mares Handicap Chase went to 8/1 shot Mallards in Flight.
