AC Milan and Italy U21 goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma had fake dollar bills thrown at him during Italy's match against Denmark at the U21 European Championships, amid rumours of an impending departure.

Play was briefly stopped to remove the the debris on the pitch. Some fans have become disgruntled with the 18-year-old for deciding not to renew his contract with the Italian giants. A banner emblazoned with "Dollarumma" was also hung by fans.

Donnarumma has made over 70 appearances for AC Milan since signing for the club in 2015 and has just one year left on his current deal in Italy.
