Football fans have been urged not to use any events marking the anniversary of the Hillsborough tragedy to protest about Margaret Thatcher. 

Yesterday some Liverpool fans held up anti-Thatcher banners at their game against Reading.

Two memorials to the 96 people who died are being unveiled in Liverpool today ahead of tomorrow's 24th anniversary.
