The FA have requested footage of Tuesday night’s Manchester derby in an attempt to establish if Manchester United’’s Marouane Fellaini spat at Manchester Cit defender Pablo Zabaleta.

Initial footage of the incident suggests Fellaini did spit at Zabaleta but the FA reportedly feels there is insufficient evidence to decide if it needs proceed with any charge against the Belgian, so is looking for more footage to better view the time when the incident is alleged to have taken place.

Unied lost the game 3-0, another humiliating defeat for the club in what is fast becoming a nightmare year.
